SYNOPSIS
Watching the films from the Caldas da Rainha film school, I discovered that the students were constantly filming themselves. I was moved by the way they exposed themselves. I felt close to them and began to wonder what their lives were like.
Some of the films made me want to meet the directors. It was very frustrating. Some no longer lived in Portugal. Others had left cinema.
But one day you start filming, you start thinking about a film and you're caught. I approached filmmakers while I was still at school. And now I knew why. I wanted to know what their daily lives were like. To try to understand what was different about cinema.
I got very close to the students. I discovered that they have many voices. Not just the ones in the films. I hope this happens to me too.
