SYNOPSIS
30 May 1967. Lieutenant Colonel Odemegwu Ojukwu unilaterally declares the independence of the secessionist state of Biafra over the rest of Nigeria. The federal government headed by Yakubu Gowon leads a military offensive to recover the region. The hostilities between the two parties will lead to war and the first large-scale conflict on African territory. São Tomé and Príncipe, at the time a Portuguese colony, was close to the Biafra region by air. Its geographical position will be decisive in the course of the war. 50 years later, a ghost searches for traces in the memory of the victims of that event.
